      学术研究与奖项

      主持了国家重点研发计划、国家自然科学基金、工信部揭榜挂帅等国家级及省部级课题10余项。牵头制定了国家卫健委2022版《人工膝髋关节置换手术操作规范》,推动了行业标准的规范化。田华团队与企业合作,成功研发了具有自主知识产权的膝关节置换手术机器人系统,该系统采用国产原创三轴机械臂,实现了轻量化和精准手术,并已获注册证,打破了进口垄断。在教学方面,创立了《骨科第一课》人文课程,建立了骨科晨读机制,并探索了专科化进修医师培养体制,培养了大批优秀年轻医生。

      学术研究与奖项

      在骨结核治疗方面,针对晚期活动性关节结核的诊疗难题进行了深入研究。主张在有效抗结核化疗的基础上,进行一期病灶清除及关节功能重建,以保留患者的关节功能。联合国内专家共同制定了《关节结核与耐药诊断专家共识》和《活动性关节结核一期关节置换专家共识》,规范了关节结核的诊断流程与晚期病例的手术指征,为降低患者致残率提供了重要的临床指导。此外,还开展了3D打印解剖型钛合金胫骨假体重建胫骨下段骨缺损的临床研究,探索个性化骨组织工程支架在骨缺损治疗中的应用。“晚期活动性关节结核一期关节功能重建”获中国医药教育协会科学技术奖二等奖。参与的“Wrisberg韧带型盘状半月板诊断与治疗研究”和“关节镜下半月板缝合研究”分别获得解放军医疗成果三等奖。此外,“膝关节韧带重建研究”也获得了中国医药教育协会科学技术奖三等奖。本人于2018年荣获“优秀硕士生导师”称号。

      Dr. Zhou commenced his clinical career at Peking University People’s Hospital following his graduation, dedicating himself to long-term practice in the Department of Bone and Joint Surgery. He progressively advanced through the clinical ranks from Attending Physician to Associate Chief Physician, and currently serves as a Chief Physician and Professor within the department. Throughout his extensive medical practice, he has consistently maintained a robust surgical volume, successfully performing over 500 primary and revision hip and knee arthroplasty procedures annually.

      Beyond his direct clinical responsibilities, Dr. Zhou is deeply committed to the advancement of joint surgery techniques and the cultivation of specialized medical talent. He holds prominent academic positions as a Doctoral Supervisor at the Interdisciplinary Research Center for Biomedical Engineering at Peking University, and as a Graduate Supervisor at the Academy for Advanced Interdisciplinary Studies at Peking University, where he plays a pivotal role in guiding and training the next generation of medical researchers and orthopedic specialists.

      Dr. Zhou possesses profound surgical expertise and extensive clinical experience in the comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of complex joint disorders, including degenerative osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis. In surgical practice, he specializes in primary and revision total knee arthroplasty, with a particular focus and advanced research on the critical technique of intraoperative soft tissue balancing.

      He has accumulated exceptional expertise in managing severe joint deformities caused by osteonecrosis of the femoral head and rheumatoid arthritis, such as genu valgum, knee ankylosis, and developmental dysplasia of the hip. In addition to his surgical proficiency, Dr. Zhou is highly skilled in the comprehensive non-surgical management of degenerative joint and spine diseases.

      Research & Awards

      Dr. Zhou’s research encompasses the surgical treatment of joint disorders, orthopedic biomechanics, biomedical engineering, and joint implant design. His work has received support from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, and interdisciplinary biomedical research programs at Peking University.

      He holds more than 10 patents related to biomedical engineering and joint implant technology. In 2007, research to which he contributed on the clinical application and scientific foundations of total knee arthroplasty received the Second Prize of the State Science and Technology Progress Award.
