      Prof. Zhang received his early foundational training under several esteemed Chinese orthopedic specialists, including Academician Lu Shibi and Professors Zhu Shengxiu, Zhang Boxun, and Wang Jifang. He began his clinical practice in general orthopedics upon graduating in 1986, advanced to orthopedic surgery and research in 1996, and earned his Ph.D. in 1997. In 2002, following the sub-specialization of the Department of Orthopedics at the Chinese PLA General Hospital (301 Hospital), he dedicated his focus exclusively to spine surgery. Since then, his clinical practice has centered on the minimally invasive management of Spinal Tuberculosis, degenerative spinal diseases, spinal infections, and Spinal Tumors. Throughout his career, he has developed comprehensive clinical protocols and methodologies for the minimally invasive treatment of spinal tuberculosis and degenerative spinal conditions.

      In 2003, he completed advanced training in the United States under Dr. Anthony T. Yeung, a pioneer in minimally invasive spine surgery, subsequently introducing early-generation spinal endoscopy techniques to China. Following his return, he extensively refined and optimized these percutaneous endoscopic procedures for broader clinical application. Guided by the principle of prioritizing conservative and minimally invasive approaches over open surgery, he consistently aims to resolve complex spinal conditions with minimal surgical trauma.

      擅长方向

      主要从事脊柱外科及创伤骨科的临床诊治工作。在脊柱外科方面,擅长各类脊柱微创技术,包括椎间孔镜、经皮内固定及通道下手术,对颈椎病、腰椎间盘突出症、腰椎管狭窄症、胸椎管狭窄症、脊柱骨折脱位、脊柱畸形及脊柱肿瘤等疾病具有丰富的诊治经验。在创伤骨科领域,擅长处理各类四肢骨折脱位、骨关节病及运动损伤等疾病,能够熟练开展复杂的骨折内固定及功能重建手术。

      学术研究与奖项

      致力于骨科临床与基础研究,主要研究方向包括微创脊柱外科技术、智慧骨科以及骨科新材料植入物。参与多功能骨科手术机器人的研发工作。此外,还拥有专利《智能关节康复锻炼系统》,并参编了《骨折手术学》及《解放军总医院创伤骨科手术》等专业著作。

      教育经历

      1992毕业于潍坊医学院临床医学系,获学士学位,2002年获外科学硕士学位;2006年毕业于北京大学医学部,获运动医学博士学位。2009年,在美国匹兹堡大学运动医学中心学习,师从著名的运动医学专家Freddie H. Fu,从事交叉韧带和半月板的基础与临床研究。

      执业经历

      自1992年8月始,在山东省潍坊市益都中心医院骨科工作,任住院医师和主治医师;自2006年8月始,在北京大学第三医院运动医学科从事运动创伤的治疗,任主治医师、副主任医师、副教授;2014年8月,来北京清华长庚医院骨科工作,任副主任医师,副教授。

      擅长方向

      各种急、慢性运动伤病的治疗,膝、髋等关节骨关节病的综合治疗和四肢骨折的治疗。主要手术包括: 1、以关节镜为主的关节微创治疗:包括膝关节前、后交叉韧带解剖单束和双束重建,关节软骨损伤的修复和软骨细胞移植,半月板损伤的治疗和同种异体半月板移植;肩袖损伤和肩关节脱位的微创治疗;踝关节韧带损伤和骨软骨损伤的治疗;各种滑膜炎的手术治疗;髋、肘、腕等关节损伤的治疗。2、微创技术膝、髋关节置换:包括全膝关节置换、单髁置换和髌股关节置换,股骨头置换和全髋关节置换,以及胫骨高位截骨等。3、髌股关节紊乱的综合治疗。4、踇外翻的综合治疗。5、运动创伤:包括四肢骨折、韧带损伤、肌肉损伤和周围神经损伤。

      学术研究与奖项

      博士毕业论文获北京大学优秀博士论文二等奖;008年北京市科技进步三等奖;第29届奥运会科技贡献项目奖集体二等奖。在国内核心期刊发表文章40多篇;SCI文章9篇,分别在《Osteoarthritis and Cartilage》、《Knee Surg Sports Traumatol Arthrosc》、《Arthroscopy》、《The Journal orthopaedic research》和《Biochemical and Biophysical Research Communication》等刊物发表。参与《运动创伤手术操作与技巧》、《中华骨科学-运动创伤学》、《现代运动创伤学进展》、《骨科康复学》和《肩关节外科学》等医学专著的编写工作。
