Clinical Experience

Dr. Shi earned his Ph.D. in orthopedics from the Chinese PLA General Hospital. He commenced his clinical practice in 2011 at the Sixth Medical Center of the PLA General Hospital (formerly the Navy General Hospital), where he developed extensive experience in orthopedic surgery. During his tenure, he maintained a high-volume clinical practice, evaluating approximately 800 patients annually in the outpatient clinic and performing around 120 surgical procedures per year.

In October 2021, Dr. Shi joined the Beijing Medera Medical Group, assuming the role of Attending Physician at the Medera Orthopedic Center located within the Beijing Royal Integrative Medicine Hospital.

Clinical Expertise

Dr. Shi specializes in the comprehensive diagnosis and management of diverse orthopedic conditions. He demonstrates advanced surgical proficiency across a broad spectrum of procedures, with a specialized focus on the internal fixation of appendicular and spinal fractures, joint arthroplasty, sports medicine interventions, and corrective osteotomy.

Research & Awards

Dr. Shi has made significant scholarly contributions to the field of orthopedics. He has served as the lead translator and co-translator for the Chinese editions of several authoritative orthopedic monographs, notably Noyes’ Knee Disorders, Campbell’s Operative Orthopaedics, and Essentials of Revision Hip Arthroplasty. Furthermore, his academic portfolio includes the publication of nearly 10 peer-reviewed articles in both domestic and international medical journals.
